Freeware Spyware Scanner Spybot Search and Destroy

For years and years I’ve been using the Freeware security Spybot search and destroy. 

Although it’s a free product, don’t let that scare you.  Spybot does a great job of staying up to date with the latest threats out there, protecting your computer from various spyware / malware and even has some great tools which allow you to change system parameters such as which apps start with windows etc.. 

All in all, it’s pretty much the defacto standard out there by Security Guru’s and works with almost all Windows Operating Systems.  but… to tell ya the honest truth, Windows 7 along with Windows Defender (yes Windows Defender) and Microsoft Security Essentials some may argue you actually don’t need 3rd party security tools but, it’s probably never a bad idea to hedge your bets and use more than 1 company to protect your system…???  Agree?  Disagree??  I guess that’s what the comments below are for.  ;)
